FAVORITE HOBBY
Ahhh...now we've come to the fun part. Hobbies. My favorite hobby by far is collecting anime, which are Japanese cartoons. I started collecting them after watching them on AXN. As you can see from the wallpapers used in my website, I have a thing for Neon Genesis Evangelion. However, I will watch most anime...provided if they can keep my attention. Now, some commonly used terms...

Meaning |
| Anime | Japanese animation. |
| Arigatou | Thanks. |
| Ashiteru | I love you. |
| Baka | Stupid, moron. Normally used as an insult. |
| Chibi | Characters that have been scaled down in a cute way. |
| Daijobu | When asked questioningly, it means " Are you ok? ". However, if used with " Desu " at the end of it, it means " I'm ok. ". |
| Dakara | Therefore. |
| Demo | But. |
| Ecchi | Perverted, but not as strong a word as " Hentai ". Refer to " Hentai ". |
| Fanservice | Scenes in anime that are meant to appease fans. ( e.g excessive blood spurts, skimpily-dressed women, etc... ) |
| Genki | Healthy, full of energy. |
| Hentai | Pervert, or the act of perversion. Another less forceful word will be " Ecchi ". Refer to " Ecchi ". |
| Itai | An exclamation used to denote pain. ( e.g " It hurts! " or " Ouch! " ) |
| Kawaii | Cute. |
| Kaijuu | Monster. |
| Matte | Wait. |
| Onegai | Please, or " I'm begging you. " |
| Sempai | To be used when addressing your seniors. ( In school. ) |
| Shoujo | Young girl. Therefore, shoujo anime refers to anime aimed at young girl audiences. |
| Shounen | Young boy. Therefore, shounen anime refers to anime aimed at young boy audiences. |
